Manufacturing Methods

Velocity Strings

Coiled tubing is run into an existing producing well to reduce the effective flow area to allow the natural reservoir pressure to lift water from the reservoir, allowing natural pressure to sustain production in mature producing wells.

 

Tapered Coiled Tubing

Based on the customer's specific requirements, we provide various types of tapered CT strings, including step taper and true taper. Additionally, we can offer optimized tubing designs according to different well conditions.



Intelligent Coiled Cable Tubing

According to customer's specific requirement, we can combine ESP cable, fiber optic, capillary tube, armor into coiled tubing to realize various application(ICCT). As an important protective outer armor, coiled tubing enhances the temperature resistance of internal units and plays a crucial role in resisting collapse, corrosion, and wear. It serves as the lifeline for complex and demanding downhole exploration and information transmission. We also provide optimized tubing design for our customer based on different well conditions.

 

Corrosion-resistant Coiled Tubing

We cooperated with our mill to R&D the corrosion-resistant material, through our special process control in production, our coiled tubing performance of HIC &SSC-resistant with is much improved in acid and H2S environment,It also be with higher yield strength.

 

Quenched and tempered coiled tubing

Compared to traditional coiled tubing, the quenched and tempered coiled tubing adopts a novel manufacturing process, resulting in higher pipe strength, excellent resistance to uniform corrosion, and a longer fatigue life. It is a new type of high-strength coiled tubing.

Flaring Test When the minimum inner diameter is reached after expansion, there is no cracking in the weld area or base metal
Flattening Test Before the distance between the plates is less than the specified value, no cracks or fractures exceeding 0.125 inches (3.2mm) should occur in any direction on the outer surface of the weld or base metal. Cracks originating from the edge of the specimen and with a length less than 0.25 inches (6.4mm) should not be considered as reasons for rejection
